Now that you've polished like a pro, it's time to add an accent nail or two. As you may have read in Nail Art Essentials, the dotting tool is essential for quick and easy art.

You will need:
2 Polish colours of your choice
dotting tool - Use coupon code happily10 for 10% off
wax pencil or white crayon
Place some nail polish into your tray. Tin foil works well too.
Next, dip your dotting tool into the polish and gently press on the nail in a flower pattern. Dip your dotting tool into the polish before each dot.
Use fresh polish. If you wait too long the polish will start to dry. You will end up with dried clumps instead of dots.
Use the smaller end of the dotting tool to make three small dots on both sides of the flower.
Bring on the bling! Put a dab of nail glue in the center of the flower. Use the wax gem picker ( or crayon) to pick up the gem and place it on the nail. Press it down gently to secure it.
If you don't have any gems, just put another large dot in the center of the flower using a different colour polish. Try glitter polish to add some sparkle!
Why stop at one accent nail? The design ideas are endless. Dip in and get dotting already!
When applying the top coat, use a generous amount so that the brush doesn't smear the design. It should just float over the top. Trust me, I've learned from experience. I've smeared my nail art many times and I'd like to save you the time (and expletives!)
